Anchoring / Shotcreting / Capping Beams
Anchoring is used to provide support for retaining walls and is stressed to appropriate lock offloads. Once slabs are completed, anchors are distressed. Shotcreting is used for the aesthetics of a retaining wall system.
Ground anchors transfer tensile loads, using high-strength steel bars or steel strand tendons. They consist of an anchor head, a free length and a bond length.
